St-Georges Eco-Mining Advances Lithium Pilot Plant Commissioning with $4M Support from Canada
STRATEGIC MINERALS
St-Georges Eco-Mining Corp. reports progress on its lithium processing pilot plant, backed by a $4 million investment from Natural Resources Canada. The plant, operated by St-Georges Metallurgy Corp. and Coalia, has processed 3 tonnes of spodumene concentrate.
A new filter press has been installed, doubling filtration capacity. Preliminary leaching tests indicate effective lithium recovery, supporting the ongoing commissioning. Comprehensive results from spodumene tests are due by the end of March, with black mass tests to follow in early April. The first purification stage is nearing completion, pending transformer delivery.
