Standard Chartered Highlights ESG Capital Pool Deficiency in Financing India's Energy Transition

CIRCULAR ECONOMY & RECYCLING

Standard Chartered's Shobhana Chawla states that financing India's energy transition is hindered by the lack of dedicated ESG capital pools rather than the availability of capital. Clawla noted that policy clarity and climate taxonomy are vital for attracting global investment.
