Standard Lithium Achieves 15,000 Extraction Cycles with Zero Incidents
Standard Lithium's South West Arkansas Project has completed 15,000 extraction cycles without incidents, achieving over 95% lithium recovery. The project is moving towards a final investment decision with significant interest in financing and a binding contract with Trafigura for 8,000 tons annually.

Standard Lithium's demonstration plant in El Dorado, Arkansas, has successfully completed 15,000 operational cycles with consistent lithium recovery rates above 95% and over 99% impurity rejection. The project aims for an annual capacity of 22,500 tons of lithium carbonate and is positioned for construction to potentially begin in 2026, contingent upon the final investment decision, which includes contracts and environmental approvals.
Three export credit agencies, including the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, have expressed interest in providing over $1 billion in secured financing. The project's feasibility study indicates an unlevered pre-tax net present value of $1.7 billion and an internal rate of return of 20.2%.
