Stantec and Rados to Design Recycled Water Pipeline in San Bernardino County, California
Stantec has been selected to design an 11-mile recycled water pipeline in San Bernardino County, California, for the Inland Empire Utilities Agency. The project will transport up to 10 million gallons of recycled water daily from Rialto's wastewater treatment plant to Rancho Cucamonga's advanced purification facility. Completion is expected by 2031, and the initiative aims to enhance water supply resilience in Southern California.

Stantec will lead the design of an 11-mile recycled water pipeline in San Bernardino County, California, commissioned by the Inland Empire Utilities Agency. The pipeline will transport recycled water from Rialto's wastewater treatment plant to a new purification facility in Rancho Cucamonga, delivering up to 10 million gallons per day.
This project is part of IEUA's Chino Basin Program for long-term water reliability through increased reuse. Stantec will collaborate with construction partner Rados under a progressive design-build model. Final commissioning is anticipated by 2031.
