Startup Qriton Technologies Launched by Romanian-British Entrepreneur
Andra, a Romanian entrepreneur based in the UK, co-founded Qriton Technologies in Romania to develop AI for digital analysis. The startup aims to create sovereign AI systems for Europe, leveraging civic engagement insights from the 2024 elections.

Qriton Technologies, co-founded by Andra and Marius Dima, focuses on developing an AI system for analyzing and detecting digital phenomena. The initiative emerged from their civic activities during the 2024 elections, evolving into a technological product based on gathered data.
By 2026, the company aims to expand its civic-tech tools and maintain access to European AI infrastructure. Two system components are currently tested within a European sandbox, supported by Horizon funding and utilizing a supercomputer in Italy. Andra emphasizes the importance of giving back to Romania, regardless of where one resides.
