State Development Bank to Fund Kulanak Hydropower Plant Construction in Kyrgyzstan
The Kyrgyz State Development Bank will finance the Kulanak hydropower plant construction in Naryn region to address electricity shortages. The 100-megawatt plant is expected to generate 435 million kilowatt-hours annually, reducing the electricity deficit by 11%. The Kyrgyz State Development Bank has signed an agreement to finance the construction of the Kulanak hydropower plant in the Naryn region. This 100-megawatt facility is anticipated to produce approximately 435 million kilowatt-hours annually, which will decrease the country's electricity deficit by nearly 11%.
