Stellar Energy Americas Considers $80M Cooling Equipment Plant in Fort Worth
Stellar Energy Americas is exploring a nearly $80 million investment to manufacture cooling equipment for data centers at a 1.1 million-square-foot site at 15060 Blue Mound Road in Fort Worth. The company plans to invest $34 million in property improvements and $45.5 million in equipment.
Fort Worth City Council will review the tax abatement agreement on February 10. The site is an empty industrial building completed in Q4 last year. Texas's favorable energy market and policies have made it a leader in data center investment, with data centers accounting for 21% of new demand among warehouse properties last year. Google also announced a $40 million investment in Texas for data center assets.
