Stellar Exploration Advances Czech Atmosphere Monitoring with ESA's InCubed Support
Stellar Exploration has secured support from ESA's InCubed program for its EARS project, aimed at developing a nanosatellite constellation for atmospheric monitoring using GNSS radio occultation. The project marks a transition for the Czech space sector towards data services, supported by CzechInvest's strategic guidance. EARS will process atmospheric data directly in orbit, enhancing delivery speed for meteorological applications. Since its inception, the InCubed program has backed over 180 projects with investments exceeding €130 million.

Stellar Exploration has received backing from the European Space Agency (ESA) through the InCubed program for the EARS project, which focuses on a nanosatellite constellation to monitor the Earth's atmosphere via GNSS radio occultation. This initiative signifies a shift in the Czech space sector towards independent data services.
CzechInvest provided crucial support in developing the project's business strategy, aiding in its successful evaluation. EARS innovations include on-board data processing, allowing atmospheric data to be transmitted to Earth within 30 minutes of measurement. The InCubed program has invested over €130 million since 2018, supporting more than 180 projects in Earth observation.
