Stem's PowerTrack™ EMS Chosen for 100 MWh Energy Storage Projects in Germany

Stem, Inc. will supply its PowerTrack™ Energy Management System for two utility-scale battery energy storage projects in Germany, with a total capacity of 100 MWh. The projects include a 90 MWh installation in Kölsa and a 10 MWh installation in Elsterwerda, developed in collaboration with Everyray GmbH and financed by UESA Group.

The Kölsa project is co-located with a photovoltaic plant, while Elsterwerda is standalone. Commercial operations are expected to start in summer 2026. PowerTrack EMS will be the primary control platform, ensuring grid compliance and operational performance. The system is certified under VDE standards and will support integration with external optimization systems.
