Sterling Infrastructure Acquires CEC Facilities to Enhance Modular Capabilities
Sterling Infrastructure, Inc. aims to boost its modular capabilities and growth through the acquisition of CEC Facilities Group and facility expansions. The new modular build facility, over 300,000 square feet, will enhance production efficiency and reduce reliance on skilled labor.

Sterling Infrastructure, Inc. is set to enhance its modular capabilities through the acquisition of CEC Facilities Group and expansion of prefabrication facilities. A new facility exceeding 300,000 square feet is being finalized, tripling existing production capacity and enabling the transition of labor-intensive tasks to a controlled environment.
This shift addresses the skilled labor shortage and allows for the execution of larger projects. The modular approach is expected to drive profitability and operational efficiency, with 84% of the E-Infrastructure signed backlog deriving from the mission-critical portfolio. Effective integration of these acquisitions could position Sterling as a leading full-scope infrastructure provider, capturing ongoing demand in data centers and large-scale infrastructure projects.
