Storm Exploration Initiates 2026 Drilling at Gold Standard VMS Target
Storm Exploration Inc. has unveiled plans for a 2026 exploration program at its Gold Standard Project, targeting a 5-km VMS anomaly. The program includes ground geophysics and the drilling of 10 to 15 core holes totaling 2,000m to 3,000m to investigate mineralization potential.

Storm Exploration Inc. will commence a drilling program at its Gold Standard Project in Northwestern Ontario in June 2026, targeting a significant 5-km conductivity anomaly identified in 2022. The exploration will consist of ground geophysical surveys, geological mapping, soil sampling, and drilling 10 to 15 core holes to assess precious metals and critical minerals.
Historical drilling by Inco in 1969-1970 previously identified significant sulphide mineralization, including copper and zinc, over short intervals. This project lies within the traditional territories of the Naicatchewenin and Nigigoonsiminikaaning First Nations, and ongoing permitting is in process. The results from the exploration could enhance the understanding of VMS systems in the region and attract further investment.
