Strix Achieves $100M Funding Milestone for Sustainable Aviation Projects
Strix has reached over $100 million in contributions supporting sustainable aviation projects valued at over $350 million. The funding aims to advance innovative technologies in the aerospace industry and establish Canada as a leader in hybrid-electric aviation.

Strix has announced contributions exceeding $100 million toward sustainable aviation projects totaling over $350 million in value. Recent contributions include $16.5 million for initiatives advancing hybrid-electric flight and sustainable aviation fuel development.
The RTX Hybrid-Electric Flight Demonstrator program is set to enhance propulsion systems, advancing its Technology Readiness Level (TRL) from 4 to 5. Additionally, Greenfield Global will further develop its MATJ technology for sustainable aviation fuel by 2028, while Groupe Meloche is optimizing manufacturing processes for low-emission thermal modules. These projects are expected to strengthen Canada's aerospace sector, boost economic growth, and facilitate a transition towards greener technologies and practices.
