Sudan Launches 28 Digital Services Under 'Baldna' Project Led by Minister Ghandour
Sudan's Minister of Digital Transformation and Communications, Ahmed Dirdiri Ghandour, announced the launch of 28 digital services under the Baldna platform project, initiated last year. During a press conference in Khartoum, he highlighted the progress of the national project performance platform and the digital identity platform SudaPass, which facilitate digital transactions across government agencies.
Future projects include the establishment of a national data center in Port Sudan and the construction of 60 completed 4G towers, with an additional 200 planned for this year. The minister emphasized Sudan's commitment to digital openness with regional countries and the approval of the Cybersecurity Act to enhance network security.
