Sungrow Hydrogen Energy is addressing the demand for large-scale green hydrogen through its 'flexible hydrogen production' technology, designed to adapt to renewable energy fluctuations. The technology was validated in the Songyuan project, which aims to produce 35,000 tons of green hydrogen annually.

In January 2025, Sungrow signed a supply contract with India's ACME Group for a project in Oman, while its European lab commenced operations to develop key hydrogen technologies. The company's 30MW demonstration base has operated for five years, accumulating over 22,000 hours of testing. Sungrow has achieved over 500MW in shipments and holds over 650 hydrogen production patents, positioning itself as a leader in the industry.
