Sunly to Construct Largest Data Center in Baltic Region in Estonia with €1.7 Billion Investment
Sunly plans to build the largest data center in the Baltic region in Risti, Estonia, with an investment of €1.7 billion ($1.94 billion). This facility will become the biggest electricity consumer in Estonia and is expected to create 150 jobs. The data center aims to support artificial intelligence infrastructure by connecting to local renewable energy sources. Parts of the facility may be operational by 2028, and it will be powered by a solar park and potentially supplemented by a wind farm and battery energy storage system.
