Sunora Solar will establish a 3 GW battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturing facility in Surat, Gujarat, set to launch in three to four months. This marks the company's entry into energy storage, addressing rising demand from grid fluctuations and distributed energy needs.

In parallel, Sunora Solar is developing a 2 GW solar cell manufacturing line, with land acquisition completed and commercial production expected to start by February next year. Currently, the company has a solar module manufacturing capacity of 2 GW, targeting an increase to 3 GW. It has also expanded its inverter product range and introduced lithium-ion batteries for residential and commercial applications.
