SunPower has launched a strategic initiative to enhance home battery storage accessibility for American families through partnerships with The Cool Down, Palmetto, and Enphase Energy. The program offers flexible financing via Palmetto's LightReach platform, targeting existing SunPower customers and new homeowners in 45 states.

Enphase's IQ Battery 10C, which uses lithium iron phosphate cells, will be utilized in the initiative. SunPower will manage installation and provide 15 years of support. The initiative aims to address affordability and understanding barriers, as homeowners increasingly seek energy independence solutions amid rising weather-related power outages.
