Sunrise Resources has acquired a low-cost lease and option for the Lake project in Nevada, which covers historical copper and silver mineralization. The initial payment is $100, followed by $5,000 annually, increasing to a maximum of $20,000 by year seven.
The project site features a 450-meter arsenic and antimony anomaly and historic drill intersections, including grades of 0.73% copper and 31 g/t silver. The agreement includes a 2% net smelter return royalty, which Sunrise can buy back for $500,000. The company aims to conduct geophysical surveys and additional drilling as resources allow.
