SuperCritical Materials Joins Terra Praxis REPOWER Consortium to Enhance Nuclear Fuel Infrastructure
SuperCritical Materials has joined the REPOWER Consortium to address critical nuclear fuel supply challenges as global demand for nuclear energy increases. The collaboration aims to scale advanced nuclear infrastructure necessary for meeting the projected industrial energy needs by 2050, estimated at 700 GW and requiring substantial investment.

SuperCritical Materials has partnered with the REPOWER Consortium, focusing on scaling nuclear fuel production capacity to meet anticipated industrial demands of 700 GW by 2050. This initiative is projected to require investments between $500 billion and $1.5 trillion.
The consortium emphasizes the necessity of a robust uranium supply chain, particularly as demand for low-cost, reliable power increases to support AI infrastructure and industrial electrification. SuperCritical's patented technology aims to leverage oceanic uranium resources, potentially transforming the fuel supply landscape, which is crucial for the successful deployment of advanced reactors.
