Surge Battery Metals Expands Cesium and Rubidium Analysis in Nevada North Project
Surge Battery Metals has confirmed high-grade Cesium and Rubidium across its Nevada North Lithium Project, enhancing its resource model ahead of a Pre-Feasibility Study. The findings indicate significant potential for these critical metals as co-products in lithium extraction, which could impact the economics of the project.

Surge Battery Metals Inc. has confirmed the presence of Cesium (Cs) and Rubidium (Rb) in its Nevada North Lithium Project through rerun analyses of drill samples from 2022 and 2023. These results will be integrated into the geological models for an upcoming Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS).
The project, co-owned with Evolution Mining Limited, has shown strong mineralization with lithium-bearing clays over a strike length of more than 4,300 meters. Current resource estimates indicate an after-tax NPV of US $9.17 billion and an IRR of 22.8%.
The advancement of metallurgical tests with Kemetco aims to explore the recovery potential of Cs and Rb alongside lithium. This strategy may enhance the project's overall economic viability by adding value through these specialty metals.
