Surge Reports Major Resource Upgrade for Nevada North Lithium Project
Surge Battery Metals Inc. announces a significant resource upgrade at the Nevada North Lithium Project, revealing 10.5 Mt of Lithium Carbonate Equivalent (LCE) at 3,007 ppm Li. This upgrade enhances the project's viability for future lithium supply, critical for battery production.

The updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for the Nevada North Lithium Project shows 10.5 Mt of LCE at 3,007 ppm Li, including 6.7 Mt LCE at 3,820 ppm Li. The resource conversion rate from the Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) mine plan reached 87%, confirming the project’s potential and continuity.
This MRE was developed by RESPEC Company, LLC, following NI 43-101 standards, and supports the Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) set for Q4 2026. The project, located near Jackpot, Nevada, is jointly owned by Surge (70.54%) and Evolution Mining Limited (29.46%). With a projected after-tax NPV of US $9.17 billion, the findings may attract further investment and underscore the importance of domestic lithium supply for electric vehicles.
