Surwera Secures €300k to Launch Robot Dog for Security in Sweden
Surwera has raised €300,000 in an angel round to develop a robotic dog aimed at addressing labor shortages in the security sector. The startup plans to launch its product in Q4 2026, targeting automation in environments lacking human security personnel.

Surwera has successfully raised €300,000 from various investors, including ByFounders and Norrsken Launcher. The company aims to officially launch its robotic dog in Sweden by Q4 2026, with initial deployments already underway in collaboration with Rapid, a major security firm.
Surwera's technology focuses on automating security roles in locations such as data centers and conference facilities, addressing a shortfall of 50,000 security guards. The hardware is acquired off the shelf, with proprietary software added to enhance capabilities. Following the Swedish launch, Surwera plans to expand across Europe, contingent on further funding to scale operations.
