Swift Energy Technology Berhad Reports 2026 Q1 Profit Growth Amid Revenue Decline
Swift Energy Technology Berhad reported a 9.6% increase in Profit Before Tax to RM3.9 million for Q1 2026, despite a 1.1% decline in revenue to RM24.2 million. Profit After Tax rose by 13.2% to RM3.2 million, driven by strong margins in the Ex solar PV system category. The Group's revenue was bolstered by manufacturing (RM16.8 million) and trading (RM6.5 million). International markets contributed RM15 million, with Malaysia leading at RM10.8 million. The company plans significant investments in infrastructure and innovation to support future growth.

Swift Energy Technology Berhad began the 2026 financial year with a 9.6% increase in Profit Before Tax to RM3.9 million, despite a 1.1% dip in revenue to RM24.2 million. Profit After Tax grew 13.2% to RM3.2 million, largely due to enhanced margins in the Ex solar PV system category.
Manufacturing contributed RM16.8 million to revenue, while trading added RM6.5 million. Internationally, the company reported RM15 million, with Malaysia at RM10.8 million, followed by Singapore (RM7.0 million) and Vietnam and China (RM8.0 million).
The Group maintains total equity of RM141.3 million and total assets of RM177.1 million, with plans for expansion funded by RM70.1 million from its IPO. Significant investments are earmarked for fabrication facilities and an R&D center. SET aims to leverage opportunities in industrial automation and renewable energy reliability, particularly in Vietnam and Thailand.
