T-MED Initiative Aims to Accelerate Clean Energy Projects in the Mediterranean
The T-MED initiative, part of the Pact for the Mediterranean, aims to transform renewable energy cooperation into concrete projects, focusing on solar, wind, and hydrogen by 2026. It seeks to promote socio-economic development, energy security, and industrial competitiveness. The initiative includes the T-MED Skills Agenda to bolster the green transition's employment aspect. The T-MED Investment Platform will facilitate public and private financing, with project calls expected in early 2026. Recently, two projects worth €124.3 million in Egypt were announced, aimed at enhancing renewable capacity.
