T5 Smackover Partners has launched a clean energy and critical minerals project in the East Texas Smackover Formation, integrating geothermal power, ultra-fast EV charging, and mobile energy storage. Initial geothermal development exceeded temperature expectations, validating the area's potential for scalable production.

The project will incorporate modular Organic Rankine Cycle turbines for efficient energy generation and deploy ultra-fast EV charging stations to promote electric vehicle adoption. Additionally, the initiative includes mobile energy storage to enhance grid resilience and support decarbonization and mineral development efforts in Franklin, Titus, and Hopkins Counties.
