On December 22, Taewang DND and Sacheon City signed a working-level MOU to ensure the successful implementation of the Sacheon Sky City AI Data Center project. The agreement aims to strengthen a one-stop administrative support system covering the pre-screening and approval processes and establish a foundation for cooperation to secure future growth through the AI data center.

It includes provisions for providing administrative support to ensure successful project implementation. Sacheon City plans to use this MOU to systematically advance the AI data center project, promoting the establishment of an AI and semiconductor industry cluster, attracting global investment, creating jobs, and revitalizing the aerospace complex. Mayor Park Dong-sik emphasized the commitment to resolving permit and approval challenges and aims for construction approval in 2026 and completion by 2028.
