Taiz University Center Al-Huban Launches $141K Alternative Energy Project
The Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Masawi, inaugurated the $141,000 Alternative Energy Project at Taiz University Center Al-Huban, funded by the Central Emergency Developmental Interventions Unit. The project includes a 129 kW solar panel system with a 1485 kWh lithium battery storage, aimed at enhancing energy sustainability and reducing costs.

The Alternative Energy Project for Taiz University Center Al-Huban was inaugurated by Acting Governor Ahmed Al-Masawi, with a budget of $141,000 provided by the Central Emergency Developmental Interventions Unit. This initiative features solar panels with a capacity of 129 kilowatts and a lithium battery storage system of 1485 kilowatt hours. The project aims to enhance energy sustainability, reduce costs, and improve the efficiency of the national electricity grid, supporting local development efforts in the governorate.
