Talent New Energy, based in Chongqing, has completed a B+ funding round exceeding 400 million yuan to accelerate the commercialization of automotive-grade solid-state batteries. The funds will enhance investment in core technologies, advance the mass-production line for all-solid-state batteries, and strengthen its talent pipeline.
The company has developed the 'Safe+' battery platform using an oxide-polymer composite pathway, achieving improved performance metrics. Talent's batteries have passed validation tests for new energy vehicles and energy storage, allowing for volume deliveries.
In 2025, its projects were selected for a national-level disruptive technology research program. Talent New Energy has strategic partnerships with firms like Narada Power and HUITIAN New Material to build an integrated technology ecosystem.
