Talisman Metals has agreed to acquire the Tirzzit copper project in Morocco through its subsidiary Horizons Mines for about £16,000 from a subsidiary of Aya Silver & Gold, which holds a 4.7% stake in Talisman. The Tirzzit project consists of two mining licenses over 16.5 km², located 85 km northeast of Talisman's Tizert project.

Concurrently, Talisman will assign a noncore license in Boumadine to Aya's subsidiary. This acquisition enhances Talisman's portfolio, which also includes the Argana copper project. The company plans to analyze existing data on Tirzzit to develop a future plan.
