Tartana Minerals Advances Copper Sulphate Production Restart with Heap Restack Completion
Tartana Minerals has completed a heap leach pad restack and is finalizing plant upgrades for Copper Sulphate Pentahydrate production. The company anticipates restarting production within three weeks, with initial shipments planned for mid-May 2026.

Tartana Minerals Limited has completed a heap leach pad restack program, adding about 50,000 tonnes of copper-mineralised fill with an average grade of 0.22% Cu, reaching up to 1% in certain areas. Concurrently, critical upgrades to the Solvent Extraction - Crystallisation plant are progressing, with a new chiller circuit set for imminent installation.
This upgrade is part of a $0.435 million investment aimed at enhancing plant reliability and increasing output to approximately 350 tonnes per month. Production of Copper Sulphate is expected to restart within three weeks, with the first shipment to Kanins International targeted for mid-May 2026. These developments position Tartana to capitalize on market opportunities while managing supply chain risks effectively.
