Tata Motors has inaugurated a Re.Wi.Re registered vehicle scrapping facility in Patna, adding to its network of 12 centers. The facility can dismantle up to 15,000 end-of-life vehicles annually, contributing to a collective capacity of nearly 200,000 vehicles across the network.
The Patna center spans 5.5 acres and operates under the Kalahanu Bothra Group. It features digital operations for a paperless dismantling process and includes specialized stations for various vehicle types. This initiative supports India's goals for cleaner mobility and responsible recycling practices, potentially enhancing the transition to a circular economy.
