TDB Partners with Gudlyf Mobility to Develop Indigenous Hydrogen Storage Systems in India
The Technology Development Board (TDB) has signed an agreement with Gudlyf Mobility Private Limited to provide financial assistance for the development of high-pressure hydrogen storage systems in Madurai. The project aims to establish an advanced manufacturing facility for composite pressure vessels, catering to hydrogen storage, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and other applications.
This initiative is expected to reduce import dependence in high-pressure storage systems and enhance domestic manufacturing capabilities in advanced composites. TDB Secretary Rajesh Kumar Pathak emphasized the importance of supporting indigenous technologies for India’s clean energy strategy.
