TECO Secures $79 Million Data Center Contracts in Malaysia and Thailand
TECO Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd. has secured contracts worth approximately USD79 million for hyperscale data center projects in Malaysia and Thailand. The projects involve power system integration and fiber-optic telecommunications infrastructure for a U.S.-based cloud service provider. TECO aims to expand its presence in the Southeast Asian market and expects continued growth in data center-related orders in 2026.

TECO Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd. has announced the acquisition of contracts valued at USD79 million for hyperscale data center projects in Malaysia and Thailand for a U.S.-based cloud service provider. The Malaysia project involves electrical system integration, scheduled for completion in April 2027, while the Thailand project focuses on fiber-optic telecommunications, expected to be completed in December 2026.
This marks TECO's first data center project in Thailand. TECO anticipates steady order growth in Southeast Asia, supported by its ongoing transformation into an AI Data Center Solutions Provider and its focus on integrating green energy solutions.
