Tecto Data Center Plans Expansion of Mega Lobster in Fortaleza, Ceará to Double Capacity by 2027
Tecto Data Center plans to expand its Mega Lobster facility in Praia do Futuro, Fortaleza, from 4 MW to 8 MW by early 2027. The project follows the inauguration of Mega Lobster (TFOR3) in October 2025. The expansion will be supported by a R$ 233.46 million loan from BNDES. The existing data centers in Fortaleza have reached full capacity, indicating strong market demand. While the expansion will not create permanent jobs, approximately 100 temporary positions are expected during construction. Mega Lobster is integrated with key infrastructure, enhancing connectivity for local businesses.
