Teesside University and AmbaSat Win ESA Contract for Hydrogen Monitoring Project
Teesside University and AmbaSat Ltd secured a €250,000 contract from the European Space Agency for a hydrogen monitoring initiative. The project aims to enhance safety and performance tracking of green hydrogen production, aligning with the UK's net zero objectives.

A €250,000 contract from the European Space Agency has been awarded to Teesside University and AmbaSat Ltd to develop a hydrogen monitoring service over the next 12 months. This initiative will focus on utilizing satellites alongside ground-based sensors and cloud reporting to monitor hydrogen projects, particularly in areas with limited communication infrastructure.
