Telangana Seeks German Investment in Semiconductor Manufacturing
Telangana's IT and Industries Minister D.Sridhar Babu has called on the German Indian Business Alliance to promote investment in semiconductor manufacturing. The state government aims to establish Telangana as a semiconductor hub, offering extensive support for infrastructure and skill development to German firms.

Telangana is positioning itself as a semiconductor manufacturing hub and is actively seeking German investment in the sector. IT and Industries Minister D.Sridhar Babu conveyed this to the German Indian Business Alliance (GIBA) delegation, led by Mayor Manfred Ockel, emphasizing the state's readiness to provide necessary support such as expedited approvals and investment incentives.
The state is also exploring the establishment of a logistics corridor to enhance access for exporters to German and European markets. Minister Babu highlighted various sectors for investment, including life sciences and advanced manufacturing, and urged GIBA to promote the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2026 among German industrialists.
