Telebras plans to initiate its federal private communications network in May, starting with Aracaju. Following this, the network will expand to five more cities in June and seven additional cities in July, aiming for full operational status in all Brazilian capitals and the Federal District by 2026.
The network will feature high-level data security, addressing the rise in global cyber threats. It will also include governance for data and private cloud processing hosted in Telebras' Tier 4 data center.
The role of state technology companies will be complementary, focusing on localized solutions. Mobile connectivity expansion is under evaluation, with a pilot project conducted in Brasília.
