Teledyne Energy Systems Deploys Hydrogen Generator for JTEKT's Carbon Neutral Plant in Japan
Teledyne Energy Systems has launched its Titan™ EL Series hydrogen generator at JTEKT Corporation's carbon neutral facility in Japan, aiming to reduce emissions significantly. This project represents a shift from fossil fuels to green hydrogen technology in aluminum melting processes.

Teledyne Energy Systems' Titan™ EL Series hydrogen generator will produce approximately 112,000 Nm³ of hydrogen annually at JTEKT Corporation's carbon neutral plant in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. This deployment facilitates the replacement of liquefied natural gas with green hydrogen in aluminum melting operations, resulting in an estimated reduction of 56 metric tons of CO₂ emissions per year.
The system incorporates a fully integrated hydrogen cycle, enhancing operational efficiency by producing, storing, and utilizing hydrogen on site. The transition to on-site green hydrogen production is poised to play a critical role in advancing industrial decarbonization efforts.
