Telekom Malaysia Reports 2025 Results Highlighting Shift to AI Infrastructure
Telekom Malaysia (TM) reported a 1.4% revenue growth for FY 2025, with a notable Q4 increase of 6.8%. The company is transitioning from traditional telecommunications to AI infrastructure, focusing on high-performance computing and digitalization. TM's initiatives include Quad-Play services and AI-ready data centers to attract hyperscalers. The firm declared a dividend of 31.0 sen per share, reflecting a 70% payout ratio of its PATAMI. TM’s strategic pivot is aimed at becoming a digital powerhouse by 2030.

Telekom Malaysia (TM) achieved a 1.4% year-on-year revenue growth for FY 2025, with fourth-quarter revenue up 6.8% to RM3.26 billion. The Profit After Tax and Non-Controlling Interests (PATAMI) was RM1.71 billion.
TM is evolving from basic internet services towards AI infrastructure, with significant investments in high-performance computing and digitalization. The company is enhancing its consumer offerings through Quad-Play services and expanding its Carrier-to-Carrier segment with submarine cable systems.
TM is also constructing AI-ready data centers and offering GPU-as-a-Service. In FY 2025, TM declared a dividend of 31.0 sen per share, representing a 70% payout ratio, while aligning its workforce with digital priorities.
