TelePIX is preparing for a KOSDAQ listing in the second half of the year after appointing a finance executive to enhance its financial structure. The company passed a technical evaluation for a technology-special listing, becoming the first Korean space firm assessed under the 'AI and Big Data' category.
In parallel, TelePIX secured a contract to supply high-resolution camera systems for Hungary's HULEO satellite program, valued in the tens of millions of dollars. The firm's technology includes GPU-based onboard AI processors and an AI platform for automating satellite operations, indicating a focus on integrating AI in satellite data processing. TelePIX's valuation has reportedly increased from 160 billion KRW to 250 billion KRW amid rising investor interest in the aerospace sector.
