Telescent Launches High-Density Robotic Cross-Connect System for DR4 and DR8 GPU Clusters
Telescent has introduced a high-density robotic cross-connect system designed for DR4 and DR8 interconnects in AI GPU clusters. This system enhances the G5 robotic platform to manage extensive fiber connections, enabling automated turn-up and reconfiguration while minimizing errors. It addresses the increasing bandwidth demands of AI training infrastructure, allowing data center operators to efficiently manage complex fiber topologies.

Telescent has launched a high-density robotic cross-connect system for DR4 and DR8 parallel-optics interconnects in AI training clusters. This system builds on the G5 robotic platform, enabling the management of extensive fiber connections in GPU fabrics.
It automates physical layer management, allowing rapid reconfiguration of fiber paths and reducing downtime due to manual errors. The solution is tailored to meet the bandwidth demands of large-scale AI infrastructures. Telescent will demonstrate this system at the Optical Fiber Communication Conference (OFC) 2026 in Los Angeles from March 17-19.
