Telkom Completes Phase 2 Spin-Off of InfraCo, Strengthening InfraNexia for Wholesale Connectivity
PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has finalized the Phase 2 Spin-Off of InfraCo, valued at Rp49.9 trillion, enhancing InfraNexia's role as a neutral digital wholesale infrastructure provider. This strategic move follows the successful completion of Phase 1 in January 2026 and aims to optimize asset management and expand partnership opportunities in the telecommunications sector.

The Phase 2 Spin-Off of InfraCo, with a transaction value of Rp49.9 trillion, reinforces InfraNexia's position within the digital wholesale infrastructure market. Post-spin-off, InfraNexia will control over 90% of the network infrastructure assets previously held by Telkom, encompassing approximately 112,000 kilometers of fiber optic networks, including 26,000 kilometers of domestic underwater cable systems across Indonesia.
This transformation aligns with Telkom's TLKM 30 strategy, which focuses on optimizing strategic assets like data centers and telecommunications towers. Enhanced operational efficiency and a commitment to improving customer experience are expected outcomes.
The initiative also aims to create new growth sources while ensuring reliable connectivity across Indonesia's fixed broadband landscape. Risks include potential market volatility and integration challenges during the transition.
