Temple Residents Initiate Recall Effort Against Mayor and City Council Members
Residents of Temple, Texas are mobilizing to recall Mayor Tim Davis and two City Council members over concerns regarding data center approvals. The recall effort stems from dissatisfaction with the city's handling of development agreements with Rowan Digital Infrastructure and perceived neglect of community input.

A recall initiative has been launched against Mayor Tim Davis, Mayor Pro Tem Jessica Walker, and City Council Member Mike Pilkington in Temple, Texas, following the approval of two data centers by Rowan Digital Infrastructure. The group, Temple Stands Together, aims to collect signatures from 30% of registered voters in each council member's district and approximately 4,100 signatures citywide for the mayor within 30 days.
The residents express concerns regarding the rapid development and the City Council's decision-making process. As of April 20, thousands of signatures have reportedly been gathered since the initiative began.
