Templus Expands Data Center Capacity in Valencia by Fourfold
Templus plans to increase the data center capacity in Valencia from 1 MW to 4 MW, enhancing regional digital infrastructure. This move aligns with growing investments in data centers across the Valencian market, emphasizing the region's potential as a Mediterranean tech hub.
Templus will quadruple the capacity of its data center in Paterna, Valencia, increasing power from 1 MW to 4 MW. The expansion will also enlarge the IT space from 400 m² to over 1,600 m², featuring a Tier III certification focused on sustainability with a closed water circuit and 100% renewable energy usage.
Templus acquired this facility from Grupo Aire in January and is backed by Intermediate Capital Group (ICG) with a total investment of 300 million euros initiated in May 2022. This expansion is expected to enhance connectivity standards for Valencian businesses and solidify the region's position in European technological projects.
