Temporary IT Service Disruption at Regional Data Center Due to Firewall Malfunction
On March 12, a firewall malfunction caused a temporary disruption of IT services at the regional data center, affecting SORES, emergency services, and several institutional websites. Insiel confirmed that there were no user issues or security breaches and ruled out sabotage. Ongoing monitoring and analysis are being conducted to prevent future occurrences.

On March 12, a malfunction in a network security device (firewall) led to a temporary halt of IT services at the regional data center. This incident affected the SORES platform, hospital systems, emergency services, the European non-urgent healthcare assistance number 116117, and various institutional websites, including that of the Region.
Insiel stated that users could still contact medical services as needed and denied any intentional sabotage. The issue was attributed to an isolated technical malfunction and is under further monitoring to ensure continuity of regional digital services.
