TenKey LandCo I LLC submitted a request for a preliminary development plan for a data storage and service center at 421 Steele Road, Franklin. A special meeting by the City of Franklin Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled for Jan. 20.

The preliminary concept includes three 200,000-square-foot facilities on approximately 200 acres, representing an estimated $1.6 billion investment. If approved, the project could create 100 to 200 jobs with average salaries of $80,000 to $100,000 and contribute $17.68 million in tax revenue for local services and infrastructure.
