Terminal Kijing Throughput Reaches 3.59 Million Tons, Projected Growth Continues
Terminal Kijing in West Kalimantan has achieved a throughput of 3.59 million tons as of November 2025, marking a significant increase from previous years. The terminal’s growth reflects strengthened logistics activities and user confidence, with projections to exceed 4 million tons by 2025.

As of November 2025, Terminal Kijing's throughput reached 3.59 million tons, up from 1.95 million tons in 2023 and expected to surpass 4 million tons in 2025. The average throughput increased to 3,620 tons per ship per day, a significant rise from 879 tons per ship per day in the previous year.
Key commodities transacted include bauxite, coal, and crude palm oil, primarily from Mining Industry Indonesia's PT Borneo Alumina Indonesia. The terminal's operations are supported by strategic asset reallocation within the Subholding Pelindo Multi Terminal network, enhancing operational synergy and efficiency. This growth is crucial as West Kalimantan remains a vital center for national crude palm oil production.
