Terna Energy Solutions Launches Integrated Energy and Digital Transition Services in Italy
Terna Energy Solutions, a subholding of Terna, integrates engineering, construction, and digital services for energy transition. The reorganization aims to meet Italy's energy and connectivity needs, targeting 107 GW of renewable capacity by 2030. The company manages over 1.5 GWp of photovoltaic projects and has experienced significant growth in critical components for the electrical system. It also supports connectivity through a fiber optic network, addressing the increasing demands from data centers.

Terna Energy Solutions has been restructured to respond to Italy's energy transition and digital connectivity needs, aiming to achieve 107 GW of renewable energy by 2030. The company operates under CEO Stefano Schiavoni and integrates services from subsidiaries like Tamini, Brugg, and Altenia.
Significant growth is noted, with over 1.5 GWp of photovoltaic projects managed and a 30% increase in transformer orders. The company also provides a fiber optic network for data centers, enhancing operational synergy in energy and digital systems. The new regulatory framework will enable around 10 GW of new renewable installations between 2026 and 2028.
