Tesla Inc. will restart the development of its Dojo3 supercomputer following progress in the AI5 chip design, as confirmed by CEO Elon Musk. The initiative aims to enhance Tesla's AI capabilities in autonomous vehicle technology.

Dojo, first deployed in 2023, is designed to train AI systems like Full Self-Driving. Tesla plans to manufacture the AI5 chip with partners TSMC and Samsung Electronics, with the AI6 chip in early development. The revival follows the discontinuation of the original Dojo project, which was seen as critical for Tesla's AI initiatives.
