Tetracore and Huawei to Develop $400M Data Center in Atakobo, Nigeria
Tetracore Energy Group is partnering with Huawei and Inspirive Technologies to build a $400 million, 20MW data center in Atakobo, Nigeria. The facility will meet Tier III standards and is expected to be constructed within 10 to 12 months, powered by a 100MW on-site gas plant. The project aims to address the growing demand for local data storage and processing capacity in Nigeria.

Tetracore Energy Group, in partnership with Huawei and Inspirive Technologies, plans to develop a $400 million, 20MW data center in Atakobo, Nigeria. Construction is anticipated to take 10 to 12 months, and the facility will adhere to Tier III standards.
It will be powered by a 100MW independent power plant located within Tetracore's energy park, which has a gas capacity of 6.2 million standard cubic feet per day. The data center is designed to meet the increasing demand for local data storage across various sectors including finance, telecommunications, and government. This project marks Tetracore's first data center development.
